Aloe Vera, natural remedy to reduce cholesterol

High cholesterol is a common problem in today's society, which affects more than half of the adults in Spain (55%). According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO), cardiovascular diseases are the cause of death of at least 17 million people a year.

The best treatment to reduce cholesterol is based on physical exercise and a balanced diet, in which Aloe Vera works as a natural ally to improve the results. Although it is not a medicine and does not "cure" excess cholesterol, it has been used since antiquity to help balance the cholesterol levels, with good results to solve its excess in blood, which can cause circulation problems and the risk of suffering heart attacks.

Several scientific research have endorsed the continued use of Aloe Vera as an effective tool to help minimize blood cholesterol, by reducing the levels of triglycerides and LDL (bad cholesterol) and increasing the levels of HDL (good cholesterol).

Good results have also been obtained when using Aloe Vera as a complement to pharmacological treatment, which recorded significant reductions in total cholesterol concentrations, which was higher for patients who opted for combined treatment than those who were only treated with drugs.

Why does Aloe Vera help to reduce cholesterol?

Aloe Vera and its continued use helps significantly increase the "good cholesterol" or HDL, thanks to plant Sterols, organic Germanium, Chromium, Acemannan, vitamins, amino acids and enzymes, among others. These substances are found naturally in the pure pulp of Aloe Vera leaves.

Pure and natural Aloe Vera favors the balance of triglyceride levels in the blood, which should be kept below 150mg / dl. Excess triglycerides can pose a risk to heart health, since it means that the body is not able to burn all the energy and counteracts it by producing fat.

Through lignin, Aloe Vera allows to eliminate excess exogenous cholesterol and minimize that the consumed fat settles throughout Saponins and Cinnamic acid.

Aloe Vera for a strong heart

Aloe Vera contains a high volume of nutrients, which favors the proper functioning of the body. The pulp of Aloe Vera has antioxidants, such as Magnesium, Zinc, vitamins E, A, and thanks to its contribution of vitamin C it helps to maintain a stable blood pressure. In addition, its contribution of Arginine helps to have a stronger and healthier heart.

Arginine influences the production of nitrogen oxide, which is essential to maintain proper dilatation of blood vessels and to have an adequate and healthy flow.

Nature against cardiovascular risk

The consumption of garlic is very popular as a natural remedy for the balance of blood cholesterol levels; however Aloe Vera, which belongs to the same family of Lilaceas, is not as well known despite being more complete as an ally for the cardiovascular health.

Aloe Vera contains the same substances as garlic to minimize the risk of heart attack, but contains more nutrients for our health and to strengthen the heart, arteries, improve circulation and eliminate the accumulation of fats in the body.
